Competition Notices

Tuesday Open
There will be an open competition run concurrently with the existing club Tuesday competition commencing May 4th. Times for visitors available from 9.30-4pm, timesheet in operation.  Entry €20 including a €5 meal voucher.  Where possible, it would be appreciated if members who are in a position to play earlier in the day could do so to accommodate members playing after work.  A very big Thank You to all members who sponsor a competition.

Matchplay Competitions
Entry sheets now on notice board for all club matchplay competitions.   Only paid up members will be included in the draws so please ensure your subscriptions are up to date.

Golfer of the Year
A Golfer of the Year competition will be run from May 1st to the end of August for all singles qualifying competitions, with the Cup sponsored by Dermot O’Neill.  Points will be allocated to the top 10 in competitions, 10 points for 1st down to 1 point for 10th nett.  Additional points will be added for major competitions ie Captains & Presidents etc. and possibly some other competitions in August. 
A leaderdoard will be displayed in the clubhouse and will be updated weekly.  Will all past winners of Golfer of the Year please put their names on the sheet on the notice board so they can be engraved on the Cup.
